Get Involved in 30 Days Wild: the UK’s biggest nature challenge!
The Wildlife Trusts’ annual challenge event takes place throughout June and encourages people to take on wild activities.
30 Days Wild is a free, month-long challenge designed to inspire people of all ages to connect with nature. From birdwatching in the garden to exploring a local nature reserve, every action — big or small, daily or weekly — helps you get closer to nature.
Do one ‘wild’ thing every day and foster a deeper connection with nature. Perfect to inspire children or rediscover the positive benefits of nature as an adult.

There are separate challenges for adults and for those taking part with children. Resources for children feature a child-friendly design and include herb seeds, a poster with wildlife facts on invertebrates and a spotter sheet, stickers, plus a guide for parents or guardians on how to go wild with lots of activity ideas.
Adults taking part without children will receive a greeting card through the post, complete with a pack of herb seeds and a tear-away postcard to send to a friend to encourage them to get involved in 30 Days Wild.
Everyone will also receive access to digital resources, including:
- Daily emails with ideas and inspiration
- Activity guides
- Spotter sheets
- Weekly completion badges to use on social media platforms
- Completion certificate
- Lesson plans (for educators)
