Real Hot Chocolate
As the nights draw in why not cosy up with a mug of this gorgeous Real Hot Chocolate taken from the Dairy Book of Home Cookery.
25g (1oz) plain chocolate
Pinch of ground nutmeg
200ml (7fl oz) milk
2 tbsp whipped double cream (optional)
Grated chocolate (optional)
Place chocolate, nutmeg and milk in a saucepan. Heat gently until chocolate dissolves. Do not boil.
Pour into a mug, spoon cream on top and sprinkle with a little grated chocolate if using.
