Goat’s Cheese, Honey & Walnut Toastie
A delicious Goat’s Cheese, Honey & Walnut Toastie recipe from the Dairy Diary.
Sourdough bread 4 slices
Mild goat’s cheese 110g (4oz), sliced
Walnuts 15-25g (½-1oz), chopped
Honey 2 tsp
Rocket leaves and pear slices to serve (optional)
Preheat grill to medium.
Lightly toast bread on one side.
On toasted side of two slices of bread place cheese slices and walnuts and drizzle with honey. Place remaining bread on top, toasted side down.
Gently toast sandwiches under grill on both sides, until lightly toasted and cheese has softened. Serve with rocket and pear slices, if you like.
