Festive Glories is a decadent dessert recipe from the Dairy Diary.
Ingredients
- Double cream 150ml pot, softly whipped
- Leftover Christmas pudding 200g (7oz), crumbled
- Muscat or sweet sherry 8 tsp
- Mandarins 4, peeled and divided into segments
- Wild cranberry sauce 8 tsp
- Stem ginger 2, cut into slivers
- Pecan nuts 25g (1oz), chopped
Directions
- With a hand-held electric whisk whip cream until softly whipped
- Divide half of pudding between 4 sundae glasses. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon wine in each glass
- Top with half the mandarin segments, add 1 teaspoon cranberry sauce and a good dollop of cream. Repeat, then decorate with ginger and pecans
