The 3 top tips are…
Layering
Layer your beautiful crockery, first being a placemat and or charger plate, next place a dinner plate, then a bowl. You can even include a small favour or Christmas cracker for your family to enjoy.
Don’t forget cutlery and arrange them to fit! Either around the plate, like below, or at the side on top of a napkin.
Candles and fairy lights
Create a festive ambience with plenty of fairy lights and candles.
A good mix of pillar candles and tealights really help to produce a warm, glowing atmosphere that will be remembered for years to come.
Colour or theme
Think about your theme, or don’t at all! It really doesn’t matter how you lay the table, as long as you enjoy the day.
