How to remember absolutely everything!

How ro organise your diary

Juggling work, children (or grandchildren), housework, paperwork; friends and family can be enormously challenging in our frenetic lifestyle.

The ONLY way I can juggle everything is being highly reliant (and never far from) my diary.

There are receipts, parcel return labels and shopping lists in the pocket. Stickers liberally scattered through the book, reminding me of birthdays, hair appointments, vet check-ups and even when the boiler needs servicing.

On every day I have everyone’s meetings, events, appointments and reminders and at the bottom, in the reminders panel. I have general ‘to dos’ for that week. I even write down what’s for dinner every day so that I don’t have to think too much when juggling work with homework and clubs.

As well as all those daily and weekly essentials I jot other reminders down in relevant notes sections, namely ideas for birthday or Christmas gifts when inspiration strikes; events I see advertised or places to visit that I think may be fun for a future weekend; plus my own codewords to help me remember my passwords (obviously NOT the actual passwords).
