Celebrating 50 years of the UK’s best-loved cookbook!
Okay, best-loved cookbook is quite a claim and there are a LOT of well-loved British cookbooks out there, but we know from all the feedback that we have received over the years that The Dairy Book of Home Cookery is one of the most trusted and adored, and generations have grown up cooking from it.
In Sainsbury’s magazine earlier this year Celebrity Masterchef winner Lisa Faulkner says that this is the book she absolutely treasures.
And in an interview a few years’ ago John Whaite, GBBO winner, cites The Dairy Book of Home Cookery as the book that has influenced him in his career. It was also voted as one of the greatest cookbooks of all time by Olive readers. And BBC Good Food readers voted it one of the most reliable.
We are celebrating the 50thbirthday of this best-loved cookbook with a very special anniversary edition. With a gorgeous teal cover and decadent gold lettering, it features 900 favourites plus 50 new classics.
It’s a must for every kitchen – as an upgrade to that old battered copy that’s seen better days, or for Dairy Book of Home Cookery newbies, who would just love a copy.
Try it this weekend.
As well as this very exciting news, we also have an exciting competition!
