Sausage & Artichoke Rolls

Sausage roll – a firm favourite with us Brits. Reputedly, Greggs (usually) sell 2.5 million every week! And when George Osborne threatened to tax them in 2012, there was a countrywide outcry until he backed down.

Encasing meat in pastry dates back to Ancient Greece, but the ‘modern’ sausage roll was created in Great Britain.

Raved about by our testers, this recipe is a delicious twist on the classic sausage roll.

Eat one or two portions and freeze the rest for a later date.
